Baltimore win for Level 5

PDS finally brought back some good memories from Baltimore, (PDS owner Lee Szczypski’s visit to Baltimore in 2011 included having to rebuild a whole harness overnight before race day!). While this year’s visit included a crash at the start of the race that took out the #551 of Level 5, the sister #552 car pushed through with a dominating performance and gave the team its fifth consecutive P2 class win this season.

While the full field of cars was approaching the green flag to start the race, Tucker was struck from behind and turned into the wall by Extreme Speed Motorsports driver Anthony Lazzaro who was later penalized for avoidable contact. Numerous cars were subsequently caught up in a chain reaction crash that forced the race to be red flagged for nearly an hour. Cosmo, starting from the fourth position, was able to avoid the accident and continue.
