HARNESS TESTING FROM PDS

PDS CAN HELP YOU MAINTAIN YOUR ESSENTIAL WIRING HARNESSES!

Teams check wheels, suspension, uprights, and rockers, but don’t neglect one of the most important components of your race car!

A problem with a wiring harness can ruin your race weekend – anything from annoying glitches to not being able to run on the track.

Tracking down wiring problems takes expertise, information which may not be available (harness diagrams, pinouts), and TIME to diagnose.

The Cirris tester not only checks to make sure that the pinout is correct and that there are no shorts, but the high-voltage test can detect potential problems that will pass a low-voltage test! Damage from cuts, chafing, poor soldering, and more can be detected with the high-voltage test.

What is high-voltage testing?

Many people are familiar with a continuity test. This tells you whether or not current will flow freely from one point to another. What this does not tell you is if that current flows or leaks to OTHER connections. With every possible connection hooked up to the Cirris tester, the machine can verify that there is no current leakage on any of the other connections which can interfere with the quality of your data, or even cause a potential HARNESS MELTDOWN!

PDS prides itself on quality construction, and to verify that, all harnesses undergo thorough testing with its new Cirris tester.
Test your harnesses! – High-voltage testing may detect issues before they become RACE STOPPERS. If a problem is detected, PDS can repair or replace your harness.
